Minimum Requirements:

• Position requires a wide skill set which includes computer operations, technical support, systems analysis and programming
• Will be jointly responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the organization:  servers, hardware, software, telecommunication, e-mail, and security systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and problem solving capabilities
• Self starter, able to work without direct supervision and to prioritize projects
• Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills
• Degree, certifications, or equivalent experience
  
  

Preferred Experience/Background:

• Specific experience with any of the following would be a plus: Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Exchange, Firewalls, Windows 7 Professional, SQL, Barracuda, Symantec Endpoint Protection & Backup Exec, Visual Basic      
• Any IT experience in health care industry is a big plus

• Network administration:
  • Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking hardware devices and software
  • Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN server and workstations
  • Responsible for all aspects of network security

·         Web programming/design:

o   Develops and provides content for the organization's web site. Performs as editor of the site's content. Designs graphics to enhance the look of the site. Responsible for making improvements or enhancements.

·         Hardware/Software implementation and support:

o   Installs PC's and related hardware. Investigates hardware problems and performs system hardware and communication connection repairs. Performs basic diagnostic testing.

o   Installs new, and maintains existing software.

o   Identifies problems, troubleshoots and provides assistance to users

o   Oversees telecommunications systems including voice, data, and video communication

o   Provide information technology training to staff

·         Computer programming:

o   Ability to develop new applications from beginning to end

o   Maintains existing applications
